Koster Conquest
Armed with a bike and a map your mission is to conquer the Southern one of the two Koster islands. Follow the map to destinations where you’ll be guided through exciting activities and in between, spy out the land carefully. You tackle your challenges with teamwork, problem solving and an unyielding determination to win. Koster Conquest is a creative outdoor program intertwined with smart team building elements.

Pentathlon
To spice up your conference let us design a pentathlon fitted precisely to your group’s demographics to combine challenges indoors and out, even on a desert coastal expanse deep within the Koster skerries. Try something daring such as archery, or a sea rafting race, or creative like playing the boomwhackers. Or how’bout the infamous “f r o z e n T-shirt”?

Oscar Gala
We all dream of how cool it would be to be a film star, don’t we? Now here’s your chance to go at it for real.
In groups you’ll shoot your own movie staged amidst the props we’ve assembled for your production and with the plot chosen by your director. Once ready, our professional editors cut your footage into presentable films for release at a festive Oscar Gala Dinner. And God only knows, could it be you taking home that Oscar for best acting in a main or supporting role, or if not that, at least the prize for (oh well) the biggest blunder?

Choir Festival
From our long list of well-known songs your group will choose one you guys would like to present the most. This is your chance to create your own re-make of a classic or perhaps perform an old folk song? After an hour or two in practice, our camera crew tapes your performance to be aired after dinner. With a mentometer system the choirs then select the best contributor. The winner can enjoy not only the prize, but also the joy of fame being celebrated by the crowd.
What so great about this fantastic team building exercise is that it provides an enriching group activity for the day and at the same time great entertainment for the night.

RibRebus
An exciting activity combining travel, speed, problem solving and cooperation. The teams are challenged to navigate their way out to specific spots in the archipelago to unearth and solve challanges hidden from the naked eye.
This exercise may be tailored to your group of 10-120 persons

Short Mat Bowls
Australians, Englishmen and Scots unanimously agree (and so do we) that this game is a lot of fun, and we are proud to present it to you right here on our premises. The game is played in broadly the same way as lawn bowls only indoors on a strip of special matting. The object is to get one’s bowls nearer to the jack than one’s opponents’, and so outscore them. The game involves skill, tactics and cooperation and as we said, a whole lot of fun.

Double Pentathlon
A contest featuring 10 events designed for members of larger groups competing in small teams. Every team performs exercises such as model photo shooting or producing a CD or a music video clip as well as indoor shooting or Frisbee-golf. What’s produced during the day is presented in the evening and a winner team is nominated guaranteeing a whole day and night of pure, undiluted fun for everyone.

Cardboard ferry regatta
In teams you are designing and building a boat made of cardboard with the use of a single knife and some tape. Your boat is then set sail with two of your team mates onboard, whose challenge is to return to port safe and sound after having cruised around a buoy.
20 persons minimum.

Sport Shooting
Here’s a lead-, bullet- and soundproof but no way a ‘fun’-proof alternative to real firearm shooting. The infra-red system involved was developed by researchers of the Finish National Defence Administration in concert with the Biathlon Association to best simulate real life air rifle shooting. So here it is, for you, too, to try your feet at rifle marksmanship from a standing, kneeling or laying position or in motion on skis or on an acrobatic bike (!), the possibilities are nearly endless. And so will be your hunger for more, once you’ve tried.

Mentometer Quiz
This morning or evening activity, involving the mentometer system has no boundaries, whatsoever. It is basically a trivia with questions about popular music, more general or perhaps more specific topics that may even be your company; with the scores and questions displayed on a full size movie screen. General knowledge, fast thinking and a team spirit makes everyone a winner in this fun quiz game.

Boat trips to the Archipelago Koster
Koster Islands consist of two larger islands, North and South Koster and a great number of skerries and rocky isles scattered around in their vicinity. The environment surrounding the islands is unique to Swedish waters. It is by far the richest in marine species, of which some 200 can nowhere else be found in Sweden. Whichever season you’d visit this pearl of the Swedish West-Coast, you’ll find it has an irresistible charm.
South Koster’s enthralling air of serenity can be best absorbed on a bike, which one may rent on the spot. We can help you book a table at one of the island’s snug little restaurants and give you advice on sights and beaches you just can not miss.
North Koster is a whole different story with its dramatic, rocky scenery and sparse vegetation. One explores it on foot, which involves a bit of climbing, but don’t worry, every little drop of sweat is worth it! North Koster boasts with amazing beaches, it has exquisite views to the greater archipelago and gives home to the magnificent highland cattle, with whom a meeting, up close and personal is a rare experience of the truly heart warming sort.

Sea Rafting
Can tranquillity and the rush of adrenalin be ever in the same boat? Well, apparently they can, if we were to believe those who’ve returned from one of our sea rafting expeditions organized with the highest safety standards in mind.
You’ll be rafting in a protective suit to keep you comfortable and safe from harm in all seasons or weather. And like our legendary forefathers in the wake of the last millennium, we’ll make sure that you, too, get your fair share of adventures along the way - like beach- and bar hopping or other activities - leaving no-one to return empty handed.

Lobster Safari
You don’t have to be a confirmed fisherman to be fascinated by the lobster, the ocean’s black gold, as they say. As our guest at Quality Spa & Resort Strömstad, you’re welcome to follow along onboard a real fishing boat and witness how the lobster pots, set out a few days earlier get withdrawn and the day’s catch harvested. When you return at sunset after an unforgettable day with a big, salt-spray covered smile on your face and a sizeable lobster in the had, it’s only comme il faut to leave your prey with our chefs and get surprised for the evening with a grand 5 course lobster supper. Over which you can’t but …celebrate.

Sailing
Imagine soundlessly cruising on the smooth surface of a deep blue, island speckled sea onboard the world’s most state of the art sailboat accompanied by a seasoned sailor and all the props of what people call a royal treatment. Would you believe, if we told you that your dream daysailing is only a daydream away from you?
For those new to this splendid sport and recreational activity, we offer base courses on how to change the rigging, rudder, keel, or centre board in order to manage the force of the wind on the sails and teach you a bit of navigation. We’ll gladly combine sailing into your teambuilding regatta, facilitate a beach hopping for you on a yacht and cater food or drinks onboard according to your wishes.

Seal Safari
Leave the coast on a comfortable charter vessel and pass the Koster islands until you reach the archipelago’s loosely scattered skerries where our prized seal colonies make their habitat. As your boat cautiously eases its way toward the rocks, so do their curvaceous (and curious) residents, begin just as cautiously ease their way to you checking out who it is that’s paying them a visit just that day. This is a nature experience without equal that no-one, coming to West-Sweden should miss. We are ready to accommodate requests to combine a seal safari to your Koster tour and to cater snacks, meals and refreshments onboard your boat.

Shellfish Extravaganza
After a light cocktail set sail on a cozy charter boat and tour the archipelago in the shimmering sunshine. Indulge in an imperial shellfish buffet of your most favourite seafood delicacies and for a touch of local culture and entertainment take along a troubadour with the best Evert Taube repertoire up his sleeve.

Oyster Tour
Oysters are an important food source, eaten around the world smoked, boiled, baked, fried, roasted, stewed, steamed and even pickled from prehistoric times, yet they are often considered a delicacy restricted solely for real gourmets. Our coasts are home to the flat oyster that just happens to be the world’s very best kind. Not only is industrial oyster fishing one of the most environmentally harmless processes, the oyster itself is an excellent health food as it contains several minerals such as iron, zinc and selenium, Vitamin A and B12 and is low on calories.
Opening oysters requires skill, which none of our guests should leave our coast without. Our Oyster tour includes a boat trip, a visitation to an oyster farm along South Koster and a course at which you learn from an expert how to open the oyster’s shell and enjoy its contents accompanied by a glass of sparkling wine.

Mackerel Fishing
This slim, cylindrical, silver beauty is indeed one of the most difficult fish to catch even for the experienced. Mackerels move in large schools under the water surface, never to stop, not for a second. Whenever your sea captain spots one of these schools, you may be sure that everyone onboard returns home with a heavy sack.

Kayaking
Float around the archipelago in a kayak that feels like an extension of your body just minutes after you’ve jumped in it. Experience from up close our uniquely unspoiled marine environment after you’ve learned about it through a presentation preceding your outing. Add to it beach hopping or some other activity. Well, if you are, too, we are never short of ideas.
